As much as what happened to her sucked, she should have to pay back some money to the courts for tying this issue up for 7 years. I agree that she should sue the bastard who was driving, but come on. How many people is she going to have to blame for this? If she had won, would she be going after distilleries and breweries as well? Why not sue the government of Egypt because Egyptians invented beer 7,000 years ago?
I hate to say it, but maybe it takes a Conservative government in power for courts to rule in favour of personal responsibility over “collective” responsibility. Ugh… I feel dirty.
