What a week.
Posted in Old Livejournal Archives on April 7th, 2006For those of you who think I’ve been out of touch because I’ve been too busy enjoying the amenities in my new building, you are so, so wrong.
After the move from hell (a description that fits both where I was moving from and the move itself) I decided to “celebrate” by buying dinner for some friends at a local sushi establishment. They stuck with the vegetarian selections on the menu. I did not.
They were smart. I was not.
So far the only advantage of my new place that I’ve fully enjoyed was not bumping my head on things on the way to the toilet. Today is the first day I’ve been able to keep solid food down. Up until yesterday I couldn’t even take a sip of water without throwing it up. Still a little weak today, but I should at least make an appearance at work. It’s been a while.
No more baitfish for me, that’s for damn sure.
